There are two main entry routes for graduates into Buying and Merchandising for individuals with no previous experience. An overview of each of these is detailed below.
Our Buying and Merchandising teams based at our Head Office in Watford, work closely together to ensure that we sell our product range across all of our channels; UK stores, our web site and International, as profitably as possible. The Buying and Merchandising function works closely with our teams in Design, Technology, Sourcing and Marketing, and is divided into two main product areas:
All of our entry-level positions in Buying and Merchandising are supported by a structured career development programme to give you a platform that enables you to progress quickly and confidently along your chosen career path, and importantly be rewarded for your success! Our leading edge on-line programme will support you each step of the way, and is based upon completion of three levels, Entry, Skilled and Expert, with a reward structure built in for successful completion of each level.
We generally look for numerate graduates with a degree, preferably in a retail related discipline. We will also consider A level (or equivalent) candidates with strong commercial skills.
